The Value of Structured Notes
A short reflection on why I want my notes to behave more like a handbook than a feed.
When I learn a technical topic, a chronological stream of posts is usually not enough. It is too easy for useful ideas to disappear into timestamps.
What I want instead is a structure that lets me return to a topic weeks later and still understand how the pieces fit together. Notes should not only record what I read. They should reduce the cost of re-entry.
That is why this part of the site is organized by section and chapter. It is closer to a handbook than to a diary.
